Targeting health-care-associated infections

Picture this: EnWeek on campus

Paper airplane competitions were only a part of Engineering Week Feb. 20-25. The annual week, sponsored by the School of Engineering & Applied Science, is designed to raise awareness of the profession and included a scavenger “golden mouse” hunt throughout the engineering school, Nerf gun battles and the traditional “Mr. Engineering” pageant. Law protecting domestic workers falls short, professor says

Workers who have limited rights and are exposed to significant hazards and injuries might sound like something out of a Victorian novel, but it’s a reality for paid domestic service employees who perform tasks such as cleaning, cooking, childcare and care of the elderly.   • Women head to another Final Four. The women’s basketball team continues its remarkable run through the postseason and makes its 10th appearance in an NCAA Division III Final Four this weekend. WUSTL, which has defeated four straight top-10 teams, will face No. 7. Illinois Wesleyan on its home court at  7 p.m. Friday, March 18, in Bloomington, Ill. The winner will play for the Division III national title at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 19.
